Hey Everyone,

Hope you’re all settling in to 2010 nicely. Almost February and things are alive and kicking here at the Rude HQ. We’ve had an exciting start to the year, performing at some amazing outdoor venues, such as the Cape Farmhouse in Scarborough as well as the Klein Libertas Theatre in Stellenbosch.

This weekend, folks, for two nights only (that’s right, not one, but two), THE RUDIMENTALS, live in concert!

Ladies and gents, Spring has officially sprung.

Though the Winter breeze is still around on some days, Summer is clearly on its way home. It’s time to celebrate the sun’s return with an awesome weekend of Spring concerts coming up this September.

The Rudeboys will be performing on the following dates this month:

Friday 18th September at Zula Sound Bar. - More info to follow.
Sunday 20th September at the Silver Tree Restaurant, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The show starts at 6pm and is R100 per ticket.

Come down and party with us at these two rocking concerts. Hey, why not make a weekend of it? :)

Just a quick update on our performance at Zula Sound Bar on 21st August. We’ll be joined on the evening by Verity & The Shades as well as EJ von Lyrik & Teba. With the addition of two acts, the ticket price has gone up to R50.

The doors still open at 9pm. See you there. Make sure you don’t miss this one. :)

It’s August, folks. We’re well over the yearly half-way mark. Winter is coming to an end (despite the few rainy days lately) and the sun is making it’s reappearance. These are all signs that the party season is starting up again… not that it ever stopped, or even slowed down, in Cape Town! It’s awesome hey? This is just a reminder about our concert at Zula Sound Bar tomorrow night. With the winter weather coming on strong at the moment, what better way to warm up than skanking at Zula?

The doors open at 10pm and tickets are R40. Zula Sound Bar is at 196 Long Street in Cape Town.

We’ll be up in Jeffrey’s Bay on the 18th as well for a gig at The Lounge… more about that later. :)

Three days to go until this Saturday’s performance at Zula Sound Bar with Los Skalameros (an awesome German ska/reggae/dancehall band… check them out). What better way to warm up on a cold Winter’s evening, than to dance to a stomping reggae beat?
